As I write this post I have not done any work this year.  That is not so unusual because we had a four day weekend.  What is unusual though is 1% of the year is already gone.  It seems like the Rose Parade just finished, we don’t have a College Football Champion yet and I am already fretting they year is slipping away.

How does this affect us as sales people?  It means we have to work intelligently and stay focused on our meaningful tasks at all times.  We need to be asking ourselves “Is what I am working on right now the best use of my time?”  “Am I adding as much value as possible to my business by doing this task?”  If the answer is no either delegate, defer or destroy.
